Here's the WiLd sockeye salmon! This fish goes from a generic looking silver fish to a monster-mouthed beast. The crazy transformation occurs as the fish returns to the rivers to spawn. A sockeye that does not migrate to the sea, but lives its entire life in freshwater, is known as a kokanee salmon. Sockeye salmon are semelparous, meaning they die after they spawn.
