The iconic coast is known for its beautiful homes and dreamy landscape; however, in the trellises of those beautiful buildings grow the sfusato amalfitano. These Amalfi Coast lemons are an important part of the culture and history with references of them as far back as the ancient Romans. At least double the size of other lemons, they emit an intense perfume and boast a sweet and juicy flesh. Harvested throughout the year on steep terraces accessed by stone stairs, they are celebrated most during the spring and summer months.
